Pronto Transfer

Pronto Transfer for OS X

version 1.0.1

This software is currently unsupported. If you want to download it and play with it, feel free, but there is no support available.

Pronto Transfer brings Philips Pronto Universal Remote configuration file access to the Macintosh. Now you can edit and customize your Pronto without needing a PC.

Key features:

  • Transfer Pronto configuration files (CCF) from your Pronto to your Mac and back.
  • Convert CCFs to XML and back.
  • Convert Pronto images to TIFF and back.

Customizing the look of your Pronto is easy.

  1. Using a serial interface adapter and the cable that came with your pronto, transfer your PCF to your Mac.
  2. Convert your CCF to XML and your images to TIFFs.
  3. Edit your TIFF files and the XML.
  4. Convert you TIFFs and XML back to a CCF.
  5. Send your new CCF back to your Pronto.

Pronto Transfer knows the Sony IR code format and will export nicely formatted IR commands instead of the raw IR signal when possible.

Philips, Pronto, Sony, and Macintosh are trademarks of their respective owners.

Pronto Transfer is shareware. If you keep and use it after a two week trial you are obliged to pay for it. It is reasonably priced at $12.50 (U.S.) and you get free updates on all 1.x versions.
